How it works
Quote. Settle. Receipt.
Remittance pricing hides its real cost inside the exchange rate. On Monad the quote and the fill are both public, so the spread can be shown before you sign, capped by the contract, and proven afterwards.
- 01
You see the spread in pounds first
The reference rate comes from Chainlink’s GBP/USD and AUSD/USD feeds, composed on-chain. Henad shows your rate next to it and the difference as an amount, then in basis points.
- 02
The contract enforces your worst rate
You set a maximum spread. If the fill is worse, CorridorRouter reverts in the same transaction and nothing moves.
- 03
Every payout emits a public receipt
RateAttestation writes reference rate, executed rate, spread, and the rate source to Monad. Anyone can open the permalink and check it against the chain, without a wallet.
The receipt
One artifact that reflects the whole corridor.
A PayoutSettled event, emitted in the same transaction that moved the funds. No admin key can alter it. Every rate on it names an addressable source.

Corridors
Three kinds of corridor. Every number from a live feed.
A corridor is live when it has a rate source and a venue. It is quotable when it has a rate source and no asset to deliver into. It is unpriced when Monad has no feed for it at all. Henad’s registry holds all three, so the gaps are visible in the product.
The unpriced corridor
Five currencies have a live price on Monad. None of them is African.
Chainlink runs five fiat feeds here — euro, pound, Swiss franc, yen, Canadian dollar — and no African currency among them. Pyth publishes no naira feed on any chain, and the one African currency it does publish, the rand, sits in Monad’s Pyth contract with a publish time of 2 September 2025; every staleness-checked read of it reverts. Chainlink does produce NGN/USD: it runs on Celo, where Mento relays it into a naira market.
Henad’s registry holds USD → NGN anyway, with a rate source of none: the app offers the corridor, refuses to quote it, and gives the reason instead of a number. Closing it takes two decisions from two parties. Chainlink would have to deploy NGN/USD on Monad, which Mento cannot do for it. Mento would have to add the naira to a bridge config that today names five tokens and no naira, deploy the spoke, get a relayer through a factory restricted to its own multisig, set the breakers, and fund a pool. Mento has left the slot open — its Monad config reads ngn: address(0), one line below a filled-in cad — and the Canadian dollar, whose Chainlink feed is live on Monad, still has no Mento asset, no relayer and no pool.
- 01A Chainlink NGN/USD aggregator deployed on Monad.Chainlink already runs this feed on Celo; deploying it here is Chainlink’s decision, and Mento cannot make it for them.
- 02NGNm on Monad.Mento’s bridge config names five tokens and no naira, and there is no naira spoke to deploy from.
- 03A relayer carrying that feed into Mento’s oracle, with breakers set.The factory’s deployRelayer is restricted to Mento’s multisig, so no third party can add one.
- 04An NGNm/USDm pool funded with reserve-backed liquidity.Priced from the relayed feed rather than a curve. This is the step the Canadian dollar never got.

What Henad does not do
Software between licensed ramps.
A deliberate regulatory position, not a missing feature. Whoever touches fiat needs a licence. Henad never does, so the on and off ramps stay with providers already licensed where you and your recipient live.
No fiat
Henad never takes pounds or dollars and never holds a float. On and off ramps are existing licensed providers, linked, not operated.
No custody
Funds move from your wallet to the recipient’s in one transaction. There is no balance to hold and no key Henad manages.
No KYC
Identity checks happen at the ramps that already do them. Henad only ever sees addresses and rates.
Send your first payout. Keep the receipt.
A stranger with a phone can open Henad, sign in with a passkey, and send dollars to pounds without reading instructions. Try it with a trivial amount.
